Aquaphobia Socks – knit with Miss Babs Northumbria Fingering BFL in Country Girl Bouquet (aka Barbie Barf)
I’m loving the look of all the slipped stitches.. it really helps break up the colors in this yarn. I pulled it out of my stash a couple of months ago and had a total WTH?! moment. I remember Rhinebeck.. and being high on yarn fumes.. and somehow coming home with this uber bright pink crazy skein. After knitting most of the leg when I started these in April, I put it away until the other day when I “found” them again. I’ve since finished the leg and am halfway through the heel flap. Still on sock #1 though…
Jeweled Cowl – knit with Malabrigo Lace in Tuareg
Still slooooooowly plugging away at this. I’ve got 31 of 52 beaded rows done. It’s a little scary that although this is taking forever to knit, I kind of want to cast on a second one in handspun. Someone stop me before I drive myself crazy.. please?
Ruby, Pearl, and Opal Quilt
In timeout. I was cruising along.. until I found some pieces cut incorrectly.. and then some seams that needed to be ripped out and redone. I got mad at it and put it away in the spare room until I’m not mad at it anymore.
Hello Luscious Quilt
Getting there! Just need to sew the rows together, add borders, quilt, and bind… I was a little unsure of this as I was piecing the blocks together… but when I laid it all out to take the pic, I fell in love. Can’t wait to finish this one.
Modern Medallion Quilt
Class quilt for the Handstitched Class that I’m taking. Last week’s lesson included instructions for making the center block. I haven’t gotten that far yet, still working on stitching the Dogwood Blossom center. It took me FOREVER to decide on the fabric arrangement.
Ummm… I haven’t really been spinning lately. Not since guild anyways. I’ll probably continue to neglect it until Tour de Fleece starts at the end of the month.
And since I just discovered this last week, I’m going to link up to WIP Wed over at Freshly Pieced.. stop by and check out all the projects!
